Following on from previous messages we are now looking at a start date of Saturday 1st August for the new starters to come along to our first taster session.
It’s been a difficult period for everyone these last few months and we are having to socially distance all our football players at training.
This may prove to be a bit of a challenge with 5 year olds, but we have plans in place and are confident we can put on a training session for the new players.
A copy of this letter has been e mailed out to all of those that have expressed an interest in coming along and has been put onto a few social media posts.
We ask if your child has a friend that wants to join in then please invite them.
We are currently looking for children who will be Starting Year One in September and would like to start to play football and become the Under 6 team this coming season.
Their first year is dedicated to introducing them to the game of football through fun, one hour training sessions on Saturday mornings. There are no competitions at this stage.
For your information their DOB should be between 01/09/2014 > 31/08/2015.
We are also looking to recruit parents who would like to become involved in coaching, managing and training the team as they progress through the age groups.
All courses will be provided and paid for by Wembdon FC.
